Focus Braille displays are intricate devices and can be affected by moisture, dirt and dust, and even what is on our fingers, either natural oils or other materials. To ensure your Focus operated to its fullest capacity, and has as long a life as possible, we offer a maintenance service where we look into your display to clean it and determine if any other action is required.
We offer a general service for the Focus displays where we: • Disassemble the device • Remove any dust and debris from the holes and casing • Thoroughly clean the holes • Clean the pins using ultrasonic cleaning • Reassemble and test • Return freight not included • If any other issues are identified, we will contact you before taking any action
Please note: the cost of the service does not include the cost of replacement parts or any repairs that are identified during the service process. These will be quoted for separately before proceeding.
This service applies to all sizes of Focus displays: 14, 40 and 80
