Students and working people with reading difficulties - for example with dyslexia - can use hand-held devices to listen to text, check definitions, and even translate from one language to another.

These devices are pocket-sized and very convenient. Though they may look similar in size, differences between the operation of the devices can be very important considerations.  For example, the C-Pen Reader requires each line of text to be scanned (like using a highlighter pen), whereas the OrCam Read range can instantly capture the whole page at once.
