Beverley finds new independence at home and out and about

Beverley Sellens lives in Broadbeach Waters on Queensland’s Gold Coast. For most of her life, Retinitis Pigmentosa has been a constant companion, bringing with it certain limitations to her lifestyle and independence. This changed when Mike Palmer, Quantum RLV’s Low Vision Specialist met with Beverley to trial a range of assistive technology products, to find what best suited her needs.
 
The Clover Book Pro and Clover 6 electronic magnifiers were Beverley’s choice, which allow her to read printed texts including menus and her mail, do her own shopping without assistance. As for recreational purposes, Beverley is looking forward to getting back into the gossip pages of favourite magazines, which she has missed for many years.
